• For Cover Story, Backstory and Panels (Opinion), please sent a query letter with a bio of yourself (including whether you have a pen name) and details on what you plan on covering for the section of magazine for which you want to submit. For example: Dear Editors, I'd like to cover No. 6 for Backstory. Here is what I have. Etc.
• For Reviews, if you have a title you'd like to review, please check out how we've done them in the first issue and follow that format. We'll get the cover art for the title. Please, include a bio with the review.
• For Original Fiction (short stories, chapters or excerpts from a book), a query letter must be submitted including an author bio and information on where the story may have been already published (this includes websites and personal blogs) or when it will be published. We cannot accept fiction with characters from other books, manga or anime. Since the magazine is for sale in the print version and accepts paid advertisements, copyright law prohibits us from making a profit from someone else's work. We cannot accept fiction based on real people. That results in lawsuits and restraining orders. Also, we cannot accept:

Shota (underaged characters), incest (or twincest), scat or bestiality. Sex involving underaged characters is illegal in some states. Sending such materials through the mail is a crime. We are so not into the orange jumpsuits.

• Deadlines: Stories must be submitted by the 20th of the month to be considered for the latest issue.
• Editing: We will only proofread for spelling and punctuation. All changes will be approved by the author before publication.
• Length: We will accept stories from 500 to 10,000 words in length.
• Payment: Authors will receive two (2) print copies of the magazine.
